In the midst of all the rain and wintery weather, it is beginning to feel more and more like spring. All the rain is making the hills green and I have the sudden desire to wear flowers with everything haha. So I guess that means spring is almost here, right? Not only are my flower instincts ready for spring – Etsy seems to be ready as well. All the etsy shops are full in bloom with bright and fun colors and I absolutely love it! To start out the week, here are some of my favs with a hint of daffodil yellow and what would you call this? Robin’s egg blue perhaps? Where is crayola when you need them – you know those people that name all the crayons the crazy specific names. Ok, I’m rambling =)
Make sure you check these awesome stores for more lovelies!

My good friend Abby, who also happens to be my boyfriend’s sister emailed me the other day with a wedding dilemma! Haha, not really… I’m so over dramatic. Her friend is getting married and wants a lime green and fuscia-ey color scheme, however the Mr. wasn’t so sure about the idea… I think that’s the situation. Anyways, the couple needed some advice/inspiration on how to incorporate the bold colors while still making it look fabulous.
When I first thought of lime and fuscia I immediately thought of a 12 year old girl’s birthday party slash bedroom haha… so I wanted to elimanate any of those thoughts for the inspiration board lol because I’m sure that was exactlly what the couple was trying to avoid.
Since the colors are bright I figured they were going for a bright summery wedding so I didn’t want to tone anything done. Do “take the edge off” of the lime – I paired the two colors with a couple accent options that would take away the birthday look. I chose a deep blue, yellow, and a teal-ey color. I used all 3 to show how they all looked with the green/fuchsia – naturally they could just chose 1 if they wanted.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are a million ways slash colors to go about doing this, but this was what I went with and I like it – I hope they liked it too! Abby did at least =) Happy Monday – hope you all get the day off and can relax =)
*These images were all in my archives and I have no idea where they are from – if they are yours or you know who shot them please let me know so I can give them credit!
